Erlanger Health System welcomes the addition to Tye B. Young, DO, and his practice, UT Erlanger East Primary Care, to the Erlanger East Campus.
Dr. Young, who is board-certified in internal medicine, received his undergraduate degree from Jacksonville State University in Alabama and a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. After completing the internal medicine residency program at UT College of Medicine Chattanooga, based at Erlanger, Dr. Young worked as a hospitalist for 11 years in Phoenix, Arizona, and Billings, Montana.
“My goal is to practice outpatient internal medicine at its highest caliber by providing quality, cost-effective, courteous, evidence-based care,” Dr. Young said. The physician will see adult patients, focusing on preventative medicine in younger patients and comprehensive care for individuals who are chronically ill.
