Chattanooga, Tenn. – The Erlanger Health System has launched a free service for consumers to seamlessly and instantly schedule appointments online with Erlanger doctors. This new capability is powered by ZocDoc, the tech company at the beginning of a better healthcare experience.
To use the free service, area residents can visit www.erlanger.org and click on the “Book an Appointment” link. Here they can search for participating primary care physicians and specialists, view physicians’ photos and qualifications, and read verified patient reviews. With the physicians’ schedules available in real time—including last-minute cancellations and no-shows—users can choose an open timeslot and schedule their own appointments with a few clicks.
This new service is available 24/7, allowing tri-state residents to schedule appointments at any time of day or night without making a phone call to a physician’s office. Consumers also have access to additional tools for selecting healthcare providers who best fit their needs, such as finding doctors who participate in their insurance plans.
