Children’s Hospital warns residents of door-to-door scam

Officials with Erlanger Health System and T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital at Erlanger are asking area residents to be aware of a door-to-door scam involving individuals who claim they are selling books or subscriptions as a fundraiser for Children’s Hospital.  Two incidents have been reported this morning.

“There is no door-to-door campaign to raise money for Children’s Hospital,” said Chief Development Officer, Julie Taylor.  “We urge area residents to contact the Development Office at 423-778-7373 and provide as much detailed information as possible should they encounter individuals asking for money on behalf of the hospital.  Our hope is to spread the word about these incidents so no one is scammed by these solicitations.”
