National Volunteer Week 2017

Herb Cohn: “I was born at Erlanger & always felt it was one of the most important assets in Chattanooga. In addition, Chattanooga residents supported our family business for 4 generations. I felt it was payback time. It has become an important part of my life. “

Harry Sullivan: “I wanted to do something for patients and families that might make a difference in their time in the hospital. It has been more of a blessing for me.”

Thomas Davidson: “I volunteer with the service learning program because it provides the opportunity to give back to the community while exposing me to the diverse world of healthcare. The program allows me to provide a friendly face to patients and their families during what could possibly be a difficult moment in their lives.”

Robin McMahon: “It’s a way to ease the pain and bring a little light into the day of someone who’s experiencing a difficult situation.”
