Children’s Hospital kicks off their “Put Your Money Where the Miracles Are” campaign this month.
Every second that goes by, a child enters a children’s hospital for care. To provide the best form of care for all patients, they rely heavily on local support in the form of donations from the community. The donations support the research, training, and equipment required to help save children’s lives.
That’s why, throughout the month of May, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger–in partnership with Children’s Miracle Network and Jennifer Lopez –is encouraging everyone to wear a Miracle Band and “Put Your Money Where the Miracles Are” to show support for children’s hospitals.
Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, a Children’s Miracle Network hospital, provides care and treatment for more than 42,000 children each year. Wearing a Miracle Band as part of the “Put Your Money Where the Miracles Are” campaign can help generate the level of awareness necessary to gather this much-needed support for Children’s Hospital. The unusual style of the Miracle Band is representative of the bands that children wear during a hospital stay and will serve as a reminder of the thousands of children helped each year.
To show your support, you can order a free Miracle Band and make a donation here.
A longtime advocate for children’s hospitals and a mother of two young twins, Jennifer Lopez is also a founder of the Lopez Family Foundation. The Lopez Family Foundation is focused on enriching lives of women and children through nutrition and physical fitness programs, as well as the advancing technology of telemedicine – allowing children all over the world access to care from some of America’s finest pediatric hospitals.
