Two New Pediatric Specialists Join Children’s Hospital at Erlanger; Specialty Physician Services Expanded to New Locations

Chattanooga, Tenn. – Two new pediatric specialists have joined the staff of Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, while physician specialty services have been expanded at Erlanger at Volkswagen Drive and Hutcheson Medical Center.

Pediatric pulmonologist Devon Greene, MD, and pediatric endocrinologist Rita Shridharani, MD, are now accepting new patients by referral at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.

After earning a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Dr. Greene completed his pediatric residency at UT College of Medicine Chattanooga, based at Erlanger. He recently completed fellowship studies in pediatric pulmonology at UT College of Medicine in Memphis, and is eligible for board certification in pediatrics.

Dr. Rita Shridharani earned her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. She completed her residency in pediatrics at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell and fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She is board certified in pediatrics.

Two Erlanger specialty physicians are now accepting patient appointments at Erlanger at Volkswagen Drive Wellness Center. Dr. Kinsman Wright, cardiologist with UT Erlanger Cardiology, will be available at the facility on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments with Dr. Wright can be made by calling 423-826-8604. Dr. Danielle Mitchell, Erlanger sports medicine physician, is accepting patient appointments at the VW Drive location on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Wednesdays, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Appointments with Dr. Mitchell are available by calling 423-778-8920.

Drs. Laurie Ann Swaby and Arslan Kahloon, board-certified gastroenterologists with Academic Gastroenterology, are now seeing patients at Hutcheson Academic Gastroenterology, 4700 Battlefield Parkway, Suite 320, in Fort Oglethorpe. Appointments with Dr. Swaby are available at the Fort Oglethorpe office on Wednesdays, 1 to 5 p.m., while appointments with Dr. Kahloon are available on Thursdays, 1 to 5 p.m. To make an appointment with either physician, call 423-778-4830.
