Julie Taylor Named Chief Development Officer for Erlanger Foundations

Chattanooga, Tenn. – Erlanger Health System is pleased to announce that Julie Taylor has been named Chief Development Officer for the Baroness Erlanger Foundation and the T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital Foundation.

In her new position, Ms. Taylor has the responsibility of overseeing the Erlanger Foundations. She will lead fundraising efforts for both Erlanger and Children’s Hospital, manage development teams, and cultivate relationships with the Foundations’ Board of Directors and the community to promote awareness and funding opportunities.

“We are delighted to welcome Julie Taylor,” said Gordon Street, Chair of the Baroness Erlanger Foundation. “She brings experience, success, and professionalism to the table, and she will be a tremendous asset to us.”

Carrie Kennedy, Chair of the T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital Foundation, also praised the selection of Ms. Taylor. “We are so excited that Julie has joined our team here at Children’s Hospital. The experience she brings with her in fundraising will help improve the healthcare of all the children in our community,” she said.

Ms. Taylor most recently served as Director of Development at WTCI-TV. In this position, she developed a strategic plan for generating revenue for the local public television station, spearheaded multiple events, and managed teams responsible for major, annual, and planned giving. Her previous experience includes sales management at radio stations in Chattanooga and Memphis.

A graduate of the University of Alabama, Ms. Taylor actively participates in local civic groups and events, including The Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga, the Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute, and many more.
