Giving: Making a difference

With work underway on a $50 million project to transform Erlanger East Hospital into the region’s first lifestyle hospital, we need your help. Our vision is to provide comprehensive lifestyle medicine and services that place a premium on quality of care, easy access and convenience.

A variety of beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces will surround the hospital, providing patients and visitors, as well as employees and the community, a place to enjoy the outdoors. We are currently accepting donations for the three naming opportunities:

  • Sandbox Supporters (Donor Level $125/$100)—With more than 40 percent of Hamilton County’s babies born at Erlanger East Hospital each year, there could not be a bigger need for a children’s playground. Funding for the play-ground will be made possible by our community’s smallest members — our Sandbox Supporters. Honor your children or grandchildren by making them Sandbox Supporters and help create a special place for our children. Each child’s name will be permanently engraved on a beautiful plaque inside the children’s playground. Donations begin at $125 for one child and $100 for each additional child.
  • Living Legacy Trees (Donor Level $750/$450)—The Living Legacy Tree Program provides individuals and organizations with the opportunity to add beauty to Erlanger East Hospital and the Lifestyle Trail. The program is a unique way to honor individuals in a way that lasts a lifetime. Trees may be planted to commemorate a birth, marriage or anniversary; pay tribute to employees or retirees; or create a lasting symbol of a departed loved one. Trees will first be planted along the front of Gunbarrel Road and Crane Street on a first-come, first-served basis. Donors can choose either a shade or ornamental tree. Shade trees will be at least 3 inches in diameter and vary in height from 15 and 20 feet tall. Ornamental trees will be approximately 2 inches in diameter and will vary, according to species, from 8 to 14 feet tall.
  • Adopt-a-Bench (Donor Level $2,500)—Adopt a bench along the beautifully landscaped Lifestyle Trail. This naming program is a unique way to honor a loved one or commemorate a special occasion. Benches will be placed along the Lifestyle Trail, beginning along Gunbarrel Road and Crane Street, on a first-come, first-served basis. Your donation of $2,500 includes the bench, an engraved plaque, and the installation and maintenance for the life of the bench (approximately 15 years).
