Come celebrate with Erlanger during “Strike Out Stroke Night” with the Lookouts on Saturday, May 16 at 7:15 p.m. against the Montgomery Biscuits. Stroke survivors and medical specialists will be there to raise awareness and educate fans on the signs and symptoms of stroke. As the region’s only comprehensive stroke center, Erlanger has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for Comprehensive Stroke Centers, recognizing Erlanger’s stroke program follows national standards and guidelines that significantly improve outcomes for stroke patients.
On Sunday, May 17, Erlanger will recognize emergency medical service personnel and other rescue and medical agencies for “First Responder Night” at the Lookouts game against the Montgomery Biscuits beginning at 5:15 p.m. In recognition of Erlanger’s partnership with the region’s first responders and over 25 years as the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center, the first 100 police, fire, or EMS personnel who show their employee ID will receive two free admission tickets to the game. Weather and medical flights permitting, fans will experience a LIFE FORCE air medical landing as members of the crew deliver the evening’s game ball.
Tickets for both nights can be purchased by going to www.lookouts.com or by calling 423-267-4849.
