Officials with T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital at Erlanger and local Children’s Miracle Network representatives are urging area residents to contact the hospital’s Development Office at 778-7309 if they receive calls by any individuals who claim they are fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network or CMN Hospitals on behalf of Children’s Hospital. One such incident has been reported today in the Chattanooga area.
“It has come to our attention this is a fraudulent call,” said Rebecca Brinkley, Children’s Hospital Foundation CMN Coordinator. “Our development office is not conducting a phone-a-thon campaign and the national office of CMN Hospitals does not make these types of calls. Our hope is to spread the word about this so no one is scammed by these calls.”
